Pets are family. They provide comfort, stability, and emotional support during the hardest moments. Without a safe place for their pet, many survivors delay leaving.
That is a barrier that should not exist.
What It Means to Remove That Barrier
Praline’s Backyard Foundation exists to remove that barrier.
Through foster placements, boarding partnerships, and a trusted network of care, we provide safe options for pets while their owners take steps toward safety.
Families do not have to choose.
They can leave knowing their pet is protected, cared for, and waiting for them.
